‘No Favour, No Pressure, Just Principle’

HE Touched No Verdict
He met the judges, calm and clear
No pressure used, no hint of fear
No secret names, no favours asked — just honesty, no hidden mask.

He didn’t shift the law’s firm line,
Or ask for rulings to align.
Though power rested in his hand – vast, immense
He chose the path of reverence.

No pressure veiled in sweet disguise,
No bargains struck, no hidden ties.
He let the courts alone to stand.
He let the law breathe on its own,
A justice free, a truth alone.

Where silence once had cost him years,
Where courtroom lies drew blood and tears,
He could have intervened — but didn’t.
He could have steered — instead, stayed distant.
While others before had ruled with puppet strings,
And fed the court to lesser kings,
Whispered to judges, promised things.
They shaped the law to serve their ends,
And turned the bench to serve their friends.

He broke that chain, refused that crime,
He said no — and walked away,
Letting justice find its way.
No late-night calls, no secret deals,
Just quiet strength and steady heels.

And he let the gavel speak in time.
He could have changed the course of fate,
To help his side, retaliate.
But through it all, he made it clear:
The law must stand — free from fear.

The judges ruled, the courts spoke true,
Without a script, without a cue.
For once, their hands were truly free,
No shadowed hand, no loyalty.

That silence was a choice of pride,
Of strength and honour, not to guide.
A Prime Minister with steady will,
Who let the Constitution fill.

This silence is not hollow air,
But discipline — precise and rare.
A Prime Minister who won’t coerce,
Who’d rather lose than rule perverse.

So write it in Malaysia’s scroll:
He let the law move honestly.
He made no move to shift the scale,
He knew what justice must entail.

Let others lead with fear and force,
Let others stray from lawful course —
But Anwar and ONLY Anwar stood where Few Good Men can.
Long live the law. Long live the man – Anwar!
